Espruino is easy to use HW based on STM32 and JavaScript on board.
Its JavaScript interpreter gives instant feedback so that you can experiment and develop whatever your level of experience.
You can control the Espruino from almost anything – Windows, Mac OS, Linux, RasPi, Android, anything that can talk to a USB Serial port.

How to update the FW on SPIRIT1 dongle

For update the FW on SPIRIT1 dongle you must follow the steps below.

  1. Download and install the latest version of the DK for SPIRIT1 that is named:
    STSW-CONNECT009
    (see at the end of the page)
  2. Press the button indicated from the red arrow and connect the dongle to the PC.
    Now you must see the Orange or Green LED flashing.
    The color of the LED depends how are old your dongle.
  3. Run the SPIRIT1 DK and follow the steps below.




    From the window that appear choose the file:
    SPIRIT1_CLI.hex



That is all.

This is a simple project to create a low cost digital MIC for a PC.
After doing few videos using an Analog MIC, I always had problems with noise.
The Digital ones that you can buy on the web, are quite expensive, and I couldn’t test them before you buy them. So, I have built one to my needs, using low cost part from ST.

STemWIN – GUI Builder

Download the STemWIN package and unzip it.
In the folder:
…\Middlewares\ST\STemWin\Software\
there is the:
GUIBuilder.exe
allow to create a layout from the STemWin widgets
and generates a “resource array” into a .C file (WindowDLG.c)
